Please read these Terms of Service before completing a Jacques Pépin Foundation (“JPF”) Membership. Access to Membership benefits, coordinated by the JPF, is conditioned upon your acceptance and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all members of the JPF.

JPF Membership helps to advance the mission of the Foundation to improve lives and strengthen communities through culinary education.

The JPF Membership website – https://members.jp.foundation (the “Site) is comprised of various web pages operated solely by the Jacques Pépin Foundation (“JPF). Visiting the Site or sending emails to the JPF constitutes electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications from the JPF or the Site and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically, via email and on the Site, satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing.

If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your JPF Membership account or password. You may not assign or otherwise transfer your account to any other person or entity outside of your immediate household. You acknowledge that the JPF is not responsible for third party access to your account that results from theft or misappropriation of your Membership account.

Membership commences on the date of sign-up. Annual or monthly fees will be renewed automatically and indefinitely until a member cancels or switches to a different membership level. Membership fees will be adjusted only for upgrades in membership levels for the remaining calendar year.

Membership levels and annual fees are solely determined by the JPF. Only those members whose dues are paid for the calendar year will be considered active members. Failure to pay required dues or fees may result in the loss of member benefits and privileges. JPF reserves the right to cancel a membership at any time. Members may cancel their own membership at any time, but will not receive a refund of fees for any portion of that membership year.

Active members will receive member benefits as outlined by the JPF and in accordance with JPF schedules. Membership fees, benefits and schedules are solely determined by the JPF. Membership in the JPF does not entitle active members to say in decisions or governance of the JPF.

Membership dues are considered a donation to the JPF. Base level membership does not have any ($0) intrinsic value (Fair Market Value.)

The JPF does not restrict membership on the basis of race, color, disability, sex, sexual orientation, religion or national origin.

Individual memberships may be shared among immediate family members and households, but may not be transferred to un-related individuals living outside of the active member’s household.

All content included as part of the JPF Membership website such as text, logos, images is the property of the JPF and protected by copyright and other laws that protect intellectual property.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide advance notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
